Thomson and Avid Technology will collaborate to provide interoperability between the Grass Valley Infinity Series of digital media camcorders, recorders and removable media and Avid digital nonlinear editing systems.
The collaboration includes Avid’s participation in the Grass Valley Open Alliance Partner, OAP, initiative, supporting flexible approaches to newsgathering and field production. Avid’s OAP participation will create a tightly integrated workflow between the Infinity Series products and Avid editing systems.
