Dutch Lijbrandt Telecom has selected Amino to supply its set top boxes for the first-ever high definition IPTV service in Northern Europe.

Blue Ridge Communications has deployed Everstream Hosted Services, which offers software for data collection, warehousing, advertising, reporting, and business analytics for the cable and broadband industry.

Optibase IPTV platform powers traffic monitoring in South Korea
Korea Highway Corp. (KHC) has integrated the Optibase MGW 5100 carrier-grade IPTV streaming platform to enable live video monitoring of the country's highways.

KHC has stationed analog video cameras alongside highways to collect traffic information in real-time. The video feeds are delivered over a fiber network to centrally control information for processing and analysis. The MGW 5100 encodes the feeds into both H.264 and Windows Media format for real-time delivery to KHC's Regional Control centers.

Russia’s Central Telegraph looks to Verimatrix for IPTV security
IPTV content protection system developer Verimatrix is working with Russian systems integrator CTI to secure the content of Central Telegraph's IPTV service for Moscow and the Moscow region. The Verimatrix Content Authority System (VCAS), a software-based content protection system, is allowing Central Telegraph to satisfy the security demands of content owners when obtaining rights to early-release movies, popular series and other premium content, such as sports coverage.
