Snell & Wilcox iCR repurposing workstation debuts in U.S. at NAB2007

At NAB2007, Snell & Wilcox will debut its iCR repurposing workstation in the United States.

The iCR from Snell & Wilcox is designed for broadcasters and content owners to enable them to master content once and concurrently repurpose it for multiple distribution platforms. In a single workstation, iCR combines image conditioning tools, content mastering, QC and content repurposing functionality.

iCR eliminates the need for the separate encoding and transcoding processing steps, and as a result, users can complete all their mastering and repurposing tasks at the same time. This concurrent processing capability, combined with integrated, automated QC tools, gives iCR users the lowest cost per deliverable — whether the output is for broadcast, VOD, mobile TV, portable media players or Internet/Web publishing.
