The system for Gascom includes the Scopus Video Networks E-1000 professional encoder.
Russian communications company Gascom has selected Scopus Video Networks to supply and install a complete headend for transmission of compressed video over a multi-transponder satellite infrastructure.
The new multi-transponder headend compression system, provided through the Telco Group, expands Gascom capabilities from 24 to 50 channels by deploying a larger number of transponders.
The system includes Scopus’s E-1000 professional encoders, IVG-7X00 video gateways, and the NMS-4000 network management system.
