The Microwave Radio Communications Reporter is a compact, rugged wireless camera transmitter offering full broadcast quality performance.
Designed for a cameraperson to broadcast live video to a central receiver site up to 1093 yards away, the Reporter features integrated MPEG-2 encoding (4:2:2/4:2:0) with COFDM modulation.
The transmitter accepts NTSC/PAL composite, component or SDI video inputs and offers selectable audio inputs for standard analog (two channels), AES/EBU digital bit stream or de-embedded SDI.
Article continues belowThe Reporter operates on stand-alone DC power or other common "brick-type" battery packs.
Antennas can be cable connected or direct mounted. For direct mount, MRC's Colinear Antenna is offered in 2dBi or 4.5dBi models.
