George Maier has joined Microwave Radio Communications (MRC) as the director of product marketing for the broadcast sector, the company announced last week.
Maier will lead product development activities for MRC's core marketing group and will be responsible for managing the lifecycle process. He will work closely with broadcast industry leaders to develop the requirements for new transport solutions and solicit feedback on existing products.
Maier is well known in the industry as a broadcast transmission consultant, working under the company name of Orion Broadcast Solutions. His company provided engineering expertise and market analysis for a wide range of projects and companies.
