The new DFC Gemini console at Seoul's LiveTone studios.
Seoul’s LiveTone Studios has installed the facility’s first AMS Neve DFC Gemini console.
Engineer and re-recording mixer Choi Tae-Young has assembled a selection of classic AMS RMS16 and DMX units, as well as Neve analog mic pre-amps and compressors. The facility chose the DFC Gemini as the ideal complement to their collection.
The console was commissioned in early November. Choi Tae-Young said the studio is fully booked through October 2006, and is currently working on one of Korea’s first 6.1 mixes for a new movie.
