Following recent government incentives to encourage business growth in Hanover, Germany, leading automation provider Abit today announced that the Cologne Broadcasting Centre (CBC) has now become operational following the move of one of its shopping channels to a new transmission location in the city.
Abit has supplied two Show-it automation systems providing a redundant configuration to automate all essential broadcast processes for the 24/7 station, which is only manned during day-time working hours. The labor-intensive transmission check process has been automated with alarm systems to further enhance the efficiency of the station.
