Broadcasters now qualify for Nucomm replacement
By TVTechnology published
Nucomm has announced broadcasters may now choose a new generation of digital 2GHz replacement equipment as part of the BAS relocation effort rather than being forced to upgrade digital-ready transmitters or receivers.
According to Nucomm, broadcasters may now select digital replacement products, such as the Newscaster VT2 transmitter, Newscaster CR6D central receiver and ChannelMaster transmitter or receiver.
This summer, Microwave Radio Communications made a similar announcement about the replacement of existing microwave equipment.
The FCC has imposed a Sept. 7, 2007, deadline for completion of the 2GHz BAS relocation project.
