Beyerdynamic new MCE 86 II shotgun microphone

Beyerdynamic’s new MCE 86 II shotgun microphone can be used for video recordings, lecterns or theater applications, as well as mounting onto cameras or camcorders.
The frequency response is 50 – 1800Hz, and it can handle a sound pressure of 128dB. The MCE 86 II can be powered from a balanced phantom source or battery powered with an integrated 1.5V battery. It also has an electronic balanced output, allowing for operation with long cables. All battery-powered versions have an ON/OFF switch and battery condition LED.
