Ai’s Whiteside to present ‘DTV Transition Technologies’ at NAB2005

Andy Whiteside, vice president of engineering for Ai, will present a paper on IOT depressed collector transmitter technology during the NAB2005 Broadcast Engineering Conference.
The session, “DTV Transition Technologies and Techniques,” is scheduled for Sunday, April 17 at 1:30 pm.
The paper is a technical review of the latest installed Ai water-cooled, depressed collector IOT transmitters. An in-depth review of the challenges and resulting solutions in the design phase will be presented. Operating results from several fully analog and digital installations will be discussed.
