Victoria's Audio Secret Is Euphonix
By TVTechnology published
Granted, audio was probably not the main reason viewers tuned into the recent Victoria's Secret CBS special; however, for those who did, they got their audio courtesy of Euphonix's System 5 digital console, operated by New York-based ADI Group, which was hired to create the live sound design for the event.
ADI Project Manager David Shapiro noted the System 5's flexibility and features, adding, "A multifaceted show like this has so many live audio cues; to get great sound with as few moves as possible is the trick."
ADI Group was responsible for mixing live bands including Marc Anthony, Destiny's Child and Phil Collins with the host's comments.
