Telestream Now Supports PacketVideo MPEG-4

Telestream is including PacketVideo's MPEG-4 encoder as a standard format in its FlipFactory transcoding automation software. Adding the new standard will allow content owners, mobile operators and other service providers to automatically encode digital video and audio formats for delivery to and playback on wireless devices like cellular phones and PDAs.

PacketVideo was the first company to deploy 3GPP-compliant MPEG-4 video streaming to mobile devices. The PacketVideo MPEG-4 encoder provides accurate color balance to video, automatic scene detection, smoother video and digital-quality audio.

FlipFactory automates media from video systems like servers and editing systems and convert it into digital formats. It automatically delivers the resulting files to distribution services, like the pvServer.
