Plasma displays and Apple products were the most popular products and technologies on the NAB2004 show floor, according to a survey conducted by New York-based Weinstock Media Analysis on the NAB2004 show floor.
The survey of 1,000 attendees also highlighted new products in motion software, storage networking and image acquisition.
"This is a pretty clear look at what's important to buyers," WMA's principal analyst, Neal Weinstock said.
WMA surveyed some of the 1,000 attendees on the NAB exhibition floor. Responses were tabulated and compared with WMA's industry database. Five hundred of the responses were selected to represent a scientific sample of all industry user segments and respondents were contacted again in May to find out what they thought was the most memorable.
