SSL’s C100 digital broadcast console continues to be popular with a wide range of broadcasters.
Solid Sate Logic (SSL), a manufacturer of multichannel digital audio consoles for the broadcast industry, has announced that it’s for sale.
A statement issued from the company’s headquarters in Oxford, U.K., said the decision to sell SSL and its subsidiary companies came following a dispute between stakeholders over development funding. The statement added that the SSL Holdings Group hoped for a sale by March 31 and had received several offers. Existing shareholders may re-bid for the business under a new financial structure. Grant Thornton UK have been retained as professional advisers by the shareholders of the group to assist and advise them on the sale of the group’s share capital.
A confidential Information Memorandum has been issued to a select number of potential purchasers who have expressed interest. The company continues to manufacture its product line including the C100 digital broadcast console and AWS 900 analog workstation system.
