SeaChange, Time Warner Bring VOD to Binghamton

Time Warner Cable customers in Binghamton, N.Y., will gain access to HBO On Demand and other services as Time Warner Cable will brings its VOD service to the 150,000-subscriber system via digital video server systems from SeaChange International, Inc. (Nasdaq: SEAC).

These are hot titles. VOD is a hot service that only cable can offer," said David Whalen, vice president of marketing for Time Warner Cable of Binghamton.
Called iCONTROL, Time Warner Cable's VOD service will be available to digital subscribers in Binghamton and the surrounding communities this summer. Here, Scientific-Atlanta's Explorer digital set-top box and SARA electronic program guide are integrated with SeaChange's VOD system.
