SecureMedia Inc. is partnering with SeaChange International Inc. to integrate SecureMedia's Encryptonite System Digital Rights Management (DRM) software with SeaChange's VOD platform.
DRM offers secure encryption, management and rights enforcement for content delivered in IP-based VOD applications. It enables service providers to license programming and reap the revenue generated by VOD. DRM operates on various hardware and operating system platforms and can also be implemented on set-top boxes and other consumer devices.
