Ross Video Chosen for Ryerson University Control Rooms

Ryerson University's School of Radio and Television has selected Ross Video Synergy multidefinition and standard definition production switchers as part of a control room upgrade at the Toronto campus facility.

"We went through a lengthy planning process to rebuild our outdated studios and wanted a foundation that included HD technology," said Dan Greenwood, production facilities manager at Ryerson. "Ross has been excellent to work with and moving to high end switchers such as Synergy allows us to maintain our reputation as the flagship media broadcasting program in Canada."

The School of Radio and Television at Ryerson University offers studies in audio production, digital media production of graphics and art design, script writing and television studio and field production.

The Ross Video Synergy line of production switchers support a wide variety of SD and HD video formats and do not require costly upgrades to move from standard to high definition operation.
