REN TV relies on Ross
By TVTechnology published
Private Russian channel, REN TV, has invested in a Vision 3 Multi-Definition Production Switcher and a SoftMetal Video Server from Ross Video.
The new Vision switcher, combined with SoftMetal, will meet REN TV's need of increased video signals for broadcast design, keyers, graphics and complex background picture design. The new installation is set to go on air on 1 September and will enable REB TV to handle both standard and high-definition formats.
"We had received positive feedback from our colleagues which was a contributing factor for our decision to go with Ross," explained Andrew Drukker, REN TV's Deputy General Director. "The combination of Vision and SoftMetal will handle the tasks we throw their way, in return offering quality broadcasting to our viewers."
