OmniBus unveils new automation system for PBS stations
By TVTechnology published
OmniBus Systems has created a special configuration of its automation system specifically for PBS member stations.
The new package is fully compatible with PBS station operations today, and is forward-compatible with the Enhanced Interconnection and Optimization Project (EIOP) model being developed by PBS for rollout over the next few years.
The system controls up to six channels or more, has satellite acquisition, and can schedule ingest from tape and other sources to video servers. It has the ability to import schedules, cache management, and control of secondary events including logo insertion and DVE moves.
The OmniBus configuration for PBS is available now.
