NAB2007 to feature ATSC DTV Hot Spot

NAB2007 will once again play host to the DTV Hot Spot, a joint effort of the National Association of Broadcasters and the Advanced Television Systems Committee.

The ATSC/NAB DTV Hot Spot, which began at last year's NAB with demonstrations of some advanced technologies including USDTV transmission and reception of MPEG-4 AVC programming, USB 2.0 DTV antenna/receiver devices and distributed DTV transmission, will return to the Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall Upper Lobby.

The 2007 Hot Spot will highlight of variety of new technologies that use ATSC standards or emerging standards critical to the future of broadcast television. So far, this year's participants will include Rohde & Schwarz/Samsung, Zenith/LG, BitRouter, Harmonic, UpdateLogic, NAB/MSTV and special demonstrations of the ACAP field trial.
