The FCC extended the comment deadlines for public comments on its media ownership rules.
In July, the agency released and sought comment on 10 research studies related to the proceeding. Several consumer groups asked for an extension to review the studies.
Originally, the comments were due Oct. 1 and replies on Oct. 16.
With the extension, the commission said public comments (to MB Docket 06-121) are now due Oct. 22 and replies on Nov. 1.
