Four more cable channels have added Dolby Digital 5.1 audio to their HD programming: Bravo HD, Cinemax HD, The Movie Channel HD and Spice HD. The channels debuted toward the end of 2003, airing movies, live concert series and original content using Dolby Digital broadcasting equipment.
"Many more HD services have launched recently, and Dolby Digital 5.1 is the natural accompaniment," said Tom Daily, marketing director of professional audio for Dolby Laboratories.
