Milestone: MovieFlix reports 800,000 members

Movieflix, the Web-based broadband movie service, reports that it has registered more than 800,000 members who now watch more than four million movie streams each month.

The service, delivering video via RealNetworks and Windows Media streaming formats, now offers more than 2,700 broadband movie titles in 30 genres.

Founded in 1998, MovieFlix.com, has partnered with AOL, ALWAYSi, Covad, iFilm, Microsoft, NBCi, RealNetworks, RoadRunner, Rogers Communications, Screaming Media, TV Guide, Yack.com and Yahoo.
