iN DEMAND to Debut HD-VOD in April

"My Big Fat Greek Wedding" is heading to a big, wide, high-definition TV near you.

Video-on-demand provider iN DEMAND is advancing to HD-VOD and will launch the service with the surprise 2002 hit in April

iN DEMAND has lined up the HD-VOD rights of the film from HBO Enterprises and has secured additional movie titles from DreamWorks ("Road to Perdition" and "The Tuxedo") and from New Line Cinema ("Knockaround Guys")

"This initiative represents another evolution in our business," said Rob Jacobson, iN Demand's executive VP. "First we evolved from scheduled pay-per-view to an on-demand platform, and now we're taking that platform to the next level and offering it in HD. This also represents the perfect marriage of two of cable's most important initiatives, while helping to reestablish cable as the premiere provider for quality and convenience in the way of program offerings."

"My Big Fat Greek Wedding," produced by Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks, earned more than $232 Million at the domestic box, driven in large part by favorable word-of-mouth. "Road to Perdition," starring Hanks and Paul Newman, earned upward of $104 Million at the box office, while "The Tuxedo," starring Jackie Chan, topped $50 Million.

New VOD titles on tap from New Line include "Friday After Next," "About Schmidt" and "Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers," while upcoming titles from DreamWorks include "The Ring" and "Catch Me If You Can."

iN DEMAND is delivers VOD content to over 5 million active VOD subscribers and expects that number to top 8 million by the end of 2003, on a base of over 20 million digital subscribers.
