Harris Corp. recently purchased Tektronix video test gear for use in its turnkey transmitter systems.
Harris will use the Tektronix RFA300A 8VSB Measurement Set and AT970 MPEG Stream Monitor to continuously monitor broadcast parameters necessary to transmit DTV signals.
The monitor gear is designed for 24/7 use. Combining the products will provide multilayer monitoring for additional protection. The system includes remote monitoring and alarms and user-friendly interfaces.
