Groundhawgs develop a motorized ground rod driving system
By TVTechnology
published The Groundhawgs System uses a motor driven driver and a unique auger tip to install 5/8" diameter 8 foot electrical ground rods. The system allows the driver to reverse so the ground rod can be married.
It also uses conductive slurry making the ground rod twice as conductive-to-the earth as a hammered rod. The auger tip, which has a slightly larger diameter than the ground rod, creates an area around the rod that allows introduction of the conductive slurry.
