Gepco Complies with EU and California Hazmat Edicts

Gepco International Inc. has issued a "Certificate of RoHS Compliance," which covers more than 160 of its cable products. The certificate confirms that Gepco is compliant with the European Union's RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive and also with California's Electronic Waste Recycling Act.

Scott Fehl, Gepco products development manager, said, "Gepco International Inc. prides itself on its commitment to the environment and the continued development of safe and environmentally friendly products. We have met or exceeded the necessary requirements and are devoted to continual compliance."

The company has certified that its products manufactured after June 15, 2005 are free of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers.
