Front Porch Digital will license Telestream’s FlipFactory transcoding automation software for integration with the company’s DIVArchive, Distributed Intelligent Video Archive solution. A joint marketing strategy to extend the global sales capabilities of both companies’ products was also announced.
The combined technologies will provide digital media archiving and interoperability solutions, including automated media transcoding and file-based exchange between more formats and broadcast systems.
The exclusive licensing agreement positions Front Porch Digital as the only archive company that will be allowed use of the Telestream FlipFactory API for integration into archive management solutions for the global broadcast sector. The integrated offering enables broadcasters to exchange content between virtually all professional video systems.
