FCC To Delay DTV Vote

An aide to FCC Chairman Powell said that Powell expects to postpone until early next year a vote on the Chairman's January 2009 DTV conversion plan.
According to Jonathan Cody, Powell's senior media-regulation adviser, the vote was to be held on December 15 but now expects it to be held in March. The December 15 session will deal with telecommunications issues.
