The FCC's Consumer and Governmental Affair Bureau released the Quarterly Report on Informal Consumer Inquiries and Complaints for the first quarter of 2003.
The report covers a wide range of services, including satellite, cable and broadcast TV. Over-the-air reception devices and Satellite Home Viewer Improvement Act issues were among the top issues. 2,478 complaints/inquires were received regarding electrical interference. There was a lot of interest in starting broadcast stations--707 inquires were received. An additional 869 inquires asked about low power broadcasting.
