FCC fines cable company

The FCC is toughening its stance on rule violators, especially when it regards aviation safety.
Fines were issued November 4th against Callais Cablevision of Grand Isle, La., for violating public safety issues.
The cable company was fined $125,000 after the FAA’s Remote Communications Air Ground facility in Grand Isle complained of interference caused by leakage from the cable system.
The FCC also fined Callais $8,000 for failure to install EAS equipment.
