Dielectric tower factory resumes production in Newburgh
By TVTechnology published
Dielectric Communications' Newburgh, ID, tower-manufacturing facility is now back in business a few weeks after a tornado touched down nearby Nov. 6.
The twister caused extensive damage to the main plant and support buildings, resulting in an interruption to the company’s tower-production capabilities. Dielectric has developed and is implementing a plan to make repairs to the existing facility, which will allow certain production to resume.
While no one was hurt, David Wilson, president of Dielectric expressed his gratitude to the many customers and industry partners who called to inquire about the staff's safety.
The Newburgh office building, which is located a short distance from the plant, was not impacted by the storm.
