Leitch has signed a letter of intent with ABC Television Network to replace the broadcaster's and affiliates' Masterkey and Pronto branding system.
Leitch will use the technology from its Logomotion II content branding technology and its Inscriber Inca product line of master control branding tools to develop a system for the network and its affiliates to provide a consistent look and also for affiliates to insert local data into broadcasts.
"Our technology implementation will allow them to reinvent their on-air look with highly sophisticated graphic capabilities using the latest digital technology," said Tim Thorsteinson, president and CEO of Leitch Technology.
Currently, the network has an installed base of 174 affiliate O & O's.
