Several broadcasters have tapped Crispin to support news playback and media ingest.
WFTS, an ABC affiliate in Tampa, Fla. is using the Crispin NewsPlayX application to support live news operations. The system interfaces to receive rundown information and dynamic updates. Crispin's RapidPlayX automatically loads daily program and record schedules and instantly updates events when new content is available on the video server.
WHBQ, a Memphis, Tenn. Fox affiliate, is using Crispin gear to streamline operations and provide support for on-air playback. The gear includes five workstations, focused on on-air playback, media ingest and device control.
Additionally, Impact Television Network, a Russian broadcast channel based in Sacramento, Calif., is using Crispin automation to support one channel for on-air playback.
