Apple launches Motion

Apple's Motion

Apple Computer has begun shipping Motion, its new real-time motion graphics creation package. The company also unveiled a video-editing software bundle featuring its flagship Final Cut Pro software.

Apple’s motion graphic design and production application lets users explore new creative territory using self-propelled behavior animation, character-by-character title animation and a new interface. Motion integrates seamlessly with Final Cut Pro HD and DVD Studio Pro 3.

At the SIGGRAPH computer graphics show last week, Apple said the production bundle is designed to entice video professionals who already have Final Cut to upgrade to a more comprehensive package.
