Pathmark is rolling out an in-store digital advertising program in the interior of 142 stores in the fourth quarter of 2004. The system is owned and operated by SignStorey and consists of 42in plasma screens, which broadcast a combination of brand sell advertising, consumer education content and customized messaging from Pathmark.
SignStorey will provide up-to-date product, store and consumer information to its shoppers to provide an enhanced in-store experience.
The programming will provide Pathmark shoppers with the information they want as well as helpful information on food preparation, entertaining, and health and wellness.
The regional supermarket chain operates in 142 stores in the New York/New Jersey and Philadelphia metropolitan areas. SignStorey is a supplier of in-store digital advertising networks to the supermarket trade.
