Pathfire's Browser DMG
Pathfire has released Browser DMG, a new system that lets journalists access, preview and transfer information to its Pathfire-delivered news content.
The DMG, an automated IP multicast distribution platform, distributes and manages content to more than 1100 broadcast stations in the United States and Canada. Browser DMG incorporates all of the features similar to the DMG desktop application with the speed and ease of a user- and resource-friendly browser.
The system provides easy remote access to Pathfire-delivered news content. Now, a reporter working in the field can connect to the station network and read scripts and preview stories delivered by any news provider.
