Leightronix interfaces with Aavelin from MagicBox

The new interface allows the Leightronix TCP/IP network-managed video system controller to control the Aavelin synchronizing digital signage and video messaging.

Leightronix has announced the availability of a new control interface for the MagicBox Aavelin digital signage and video messaging system. The new interface allows the Leightronix TCP/IP network-managed video system controller to control the Aavelin synchronizing digital signage and video messaging with playback from servers, DVD players and VCRs.

The new interface is part of the Leightronix PLUS-BUS series. PLUS-BUS interfaces connect a wide range of video/audio playback and recording equipment to the TCD/IP. Up to 16 Aavelins can be controlled via the PLUS-BUS using one TCD/IP. Digital signage and video messaging sequences are created and managed using the Aavelin Composer software. Once created and stored on the Aavelin, display of the projects is managed using the WinTCD software provided with the TCD/IP.
