CBS Sports and the NFL Network have purchased HD graphics systems from Vizrt worth a combined approximate value of $750,000 for use in mobile production vehicles and studios.
CBS will replace its current complement of CGs with Vizrt systems. Vizrt will also provide training services to CBS while the network transitions to the new Vizrt systems for use in its upcoming sports coverage.
This will be the first season that the NFL Network will televise live games on its own network. The systems will be used from the NFL’s newly expanded studio facilities in Los Angeles.
