By TVTechnology published
Scopus Video Networks will present systems for digital content distribution and advanced encoding/decoding for contribution at NAB2008.
These solutions feature advanced compression, bandwidth optimization and enhanced modulation techniques designed to meet the critical requirements that broadcasters, content providers and satellite operators face as they deal with increasing demand for HD programming.
Scopus will display its HD DVB-S2 newsgathering platforms, intended for content providers, broadcasters, studios and broadcast networks, that take full advantage of DVB-S2 modulation efficiency improvements to provide up to 30 percent bandwidth savings. Also on display will be a headend integrating the latest in H.264 and statistical multiplexing technologies.
