RF Technologies debuts low RFR antenna for mobile TV networks
By TVTechnology published
RF Technologies brought to NAB2008 a new broadband version of its SFNstar UHF antenna that’s designed for upper and lower 700MHz mobile TV networks as well as mobile video and DTV transmissions.
The low-power radio frequency radiation (RFR) pylon antenna features up to seven channels (42MHz) of bandwidth at 700MHz and up to 30dB less RFR at high depression angles than similarly sized standard slot antennas. Its low RFR performance allows it to be mounted on rooftops and short towers while meeting all general public MPE limits. It is available with input power ratings of 7.5kW-50kW, allowing several DTV or mobile TV transmissions from a single antenna. The antenna is available in a wide variety of standard and custom directional patterns.
