NSI said it is shipping the company's first central receiving antenna system for the 2 GHz BAS relocation effort.
"We have been building BAS relocation inventory for several months. To our knowledge, this is the first shipment from any manufacturer," said Stephen Neuberth, NSI president. "It is very rewarding that a project of this scale is the first shipment to leave the dock."
The shipment consisted of 14 of the company's BAS antennas, 14 system control units and four remote-control master workstations.
The 2 GHz BAS relocation project is part of an agreement between the FCC and Sprint Nextel.
