Jampro Antennas recently completed construction of a multichannel UHF TV slot antenna for KTVK, located in Phoenix, Ariz. The antenna will serve KTVK's Channels 38, 48 and 42.
The Sacramento, Calif.-based company uses full-scale range testing to minimize the effects of the tower support structure. This allows for optimal coverage of target markets and best replication of azimuth performance for the side-mounted UHF system.
The multichannel antenna is part of the Jampro Prostar Series of UHF Slot systems, which have weight and wind load characteristics favorable for side- or top mounted arrays.
