Accom introduces Quad Twin capability for Dveous/MX to Europe at IBC

Accom's Dveous/MX

Accom made the European debut of product enhancements to the Dveous/MX and the Abekas 6000 production server at IBC2004.

Accom has augmented the Dveous/MX, a universal-format, digital video effects system, with Quad Twin capability for SD and HD. Quad Twin doubles the system’s previous dual-twin capabilities and allows up to eight channels of video or four video/key channel pairs.

The company also showed the Abekas 6000 production server for the first time at IBC. The Abekas 6000 adds HDTV hardware technology so users can mix and match SD and HD channels with high-quality I-Frame compression for frame-accurate editing. Other new features included improved networking with Gigabit Ethernet option, Fibre Channel option and an updated content management panel for networked PCs or Apple Macintoshes.

Accom also showed its APR•ClipStore, the newest SD product in the Accom family of digital disk recorders.
