Snake in a Transmitter

Steve Schrader, a broadcast engineer with WJTV-TV in Jackson, Miss., was clearing out the transmitter building from sister station WHLT-TV in Hattiesburg, Miss., last weekend:

Steve took the back door off and began to check out the transmitter without his glasses. "I thought to myself," Steve said, "what is this strand shielding doing in here. Then I put my glasses on and made a quick exit":

Steve continues: "After I regained my composure I realized he was crispy. I know it's a bit blurry but see the black mark on his head. (ouch)"

Steve didn't care what kind of snake it was, only that it was dead. "What's the moral of this story?" Steve asked...

"Always wear your glasses."
