TiVo President Steps Down

February 4, 2005
TiVo President Marty Yudkovitz announced that he is resigning from his post.

Yudkovitz--who has been with DVR maker since 2003--will stay on as a consultant.

The Alviso, Calif.-based company is also searching for a new CEO after Michael Ramsay stepped down from his position as CEO/chairman in January.

TiVo--which once led the race in the DVR market--now faces more competition from cable and satellite operators offering similar services with less expensive price tags.
