FCC Acts on Petitions for DTV Allotment Reconsideration

Late Thursday (March 6) the FCC released its order addressing requests for changes to TV stations. A total of 124 petitions for reconsideration were filed reflecting 221 requests for changes to individual stations. The FCC granted, in whole or in part, 112 of these petitions.

The Memorandum Opinion and Order addresses requests ranging from minor corrections to stations’ allotments and changes in certifications made on Form 381 (mostly approved) to a request to reallocate TV Channels 5 and 6 for FM broadcasting (denied).

He also received a Tech Leadership Award from TV Tech publisher Future plc in 2021 and is a member of the IEEE Broadcast Technology Society and the Society of Broadcast Engineers.
