Harris comes with integrated workflow solutions

Harris Broadcast Communications will demonstrate a wide variety of products at IBC2007.

For starters, the company will showcase its Landmark air-time sales, Vision scheduling, and Broadcast Master scheduling and sales H-Class applications developed specifically for clients in the Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Harris will introduce to Europe the NewsForce file-based newsroom solution built on Nexio server architecture and featuring a new generation of Harris editors optimized for the fast cutting, voicing and airing of SD and HD news.

The company will debut Centrio, a multi-image processor combining a graphics engine and router with integrated test and measurement tools capable of driving up to 32 independent DVI displays or 64 independent HD-SDI monitors.

Also unveiled will be a new video server platform line—a scalable, interoperable foundation for building an end-to-end HD/SD broadcast television solution. The line includes next-generation Nexio servers with shared storage and a range of integrated applications.

Harris will announce the European launch of a suite of HDTV H.264 (MPEG-4 part 10) compression products for the NetVX platform. Harris also will announce enhancements for the Intraplex NetXpress IP multiplexer.

Also on tap is a next-generation family of content encoding and compressed content editing applications that build on the company’s Digital Turnaround Processor (DTP).
