Canon Creates 100X Zoom Lens

Canon recently introduced the first broadcast 100X zoom lens, the XJ100x9.3BIE-D, also known as the DIGI SUPER 100XS lens.

The lens incorporates Canon's Image Stabilizer technology, which provides viewers with detailed, shake-free images. According to the company, the lens is designed for "future-proof HD/SD capability" and use in the production of sports, entertainment and other programming.
